Who is running the Goldies Travel business?

Ella and Ko Goud just full filled their dream by setting up the Goldies Travel business. They live in the South of Holland near a great nature water park called the Oosterschelde. They married in 1981 and have two teenage children Kevin and Sephanie.

They worked hard to realize their passion and started this young company in July 2008. They hope that their love for Holland and their slogan speaks to you: “Enjoy life and give us a chance to show the beauty of our country through an amazing and remarkable way”

They have traveled with their mobile home through different countries in Europe and it became their favorite way of spending their holidays. Recently they added the luxury power yacht Amelia to their collection and they would like to invite everybody to give them the chance to help them to discover the water rich, amazing country of Holland. Even the Belgium coast is worth while to discover.

Holland is well known for its beautiful nature. In the North we have dream islands with seals on the sandbanks; the mighty inland rivers with his unique protection systems for high tides. And of course our own area: the Oosterschelde , very rich in floral and fauna with the lobsters, mussels. You’re at ease with the breeze and the nature.

Our yacht is excellent to spend your holiday on or even have a daytrip. We have no limits; we can even accommodate larger groups by providing colleague vessels. We have suggestions, but like to hear your wishes. Click on the “possibilities” heading and let us know about your desires.

 

Background

Ko worked his whole live on and beside the water. He started on a Rhine Barge as a 16-year-old deckhand. Later he was employed on the modern inland tankers and after that period as a captain on a fishing cutter.

Ko is involved since 1981 in the nautical sector for the Dutch Government.  He worked twenty years as a Vessel Traffic Services Operator.  Ko is international well known as chairman of Racon, the association of VTS personnel in the Netherlands and Belgium. He is a member of the VTS committee of IALA, an international platform with advisors en nautical specialists on Vessel traffic Services.

Ella finishing since 1980 the laboratory school and works now for the Dutch government. The government laboratory she uses to work for was responsible for water quality. At this moment she is a part-time quality manager. She is a specialist in quality control and she likes to use that excellence in the service level of our companies. She will work towards maintaining high values in satisfying the customer’s needs.
